This distinctive blended whisky is first aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, before being finished for a further six months in Akashi-Tai’s superior Umeshu Plum Sake Liqueur barrels — a rare and special process in whisky making that imparts delicate sweetness and depth.
