GLENFARCLAS DECANTER SERIES 2026 - 15YO 105 BRITISH PROOF 70CL

This year’s decanter comes from a single first fill Oloroso sherry butt, Glenfarclas in its purest form. The whisky spent a full 15 years in that one cask and is bottled at natural colour and its natural cask strength of 60% ABV (105° British proof).

John Grant, fifth generation family owner and Chairman, makes no secret of the fact that the 15 Year Old is his favourite expression in the core range, and this whisky is a powerful, uncompromising sherry bomb: a fitting way to close the series.

As with the previous four editions, it is presented in a Glencairn crystal decanter. Only 600 decanters are available worldwide.

Tasting Note

Nose: Rich notes of raspberries, oranges and tangerines, with deeper aromas of dark chocolate, brown sugar and sherry-soaked oak.

Palate: Powerful and robust on the front of the tongue. Creamy and oily, with an aftertaste of dates, pecan nuts and caramelised apples.

Finish: Extremely long and powerful. Hints of liquorice and black pepper spice, a touch of cocoa and sweet sherried Seville oranges.
