DAFTMILL 2009 UK SINGLE CASK 2023 70CL

1st fill Oloroso Butt Single Cask from the wonderful Fife based distillery Daftmill. A farm distillery, Daftmill are able to get really rather specific about the barley they use (which we love). For this bottling, Optic barley grown on their south fields was harvested in August 2006, malted in Alloa in the summer of 2007. It was then mashed, fermented and distilled in July of 2009, before being filled in to an Oloroso sherry butt.

 

Bottled in 2022 at 60.2%, this 13 year old is a UK exclusive. One of 630 bottles.
