Described by the New Zealand-based brand as the final expression of The Cardrona single malt whisky coming of age, Full Flight was aged for seven years in a marriage of oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels. Bottled at a cask strength of 62.8% ABV, you can expect this one to be big, rich, and rewarding. One to open up with a little water.
Tasting Notes
Nose Dark fruit, burnt treacle, apple, cinnamon, and fresh malt.
Palate Blackcurrant compote, dark chocolate, nutmeg, raisins, and vanilla.
Finish Coconut, baking spice, and red Wine Gums.
