MACLEANS NOSE 70CL

A blended whisky that is both a nod to the Maclean's Nose landmark on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, and to the whisky legend Charles Maclean, who has acted as a guide and mentor to the team at Adelphi who blended and bottled this dram

Thoughts from Charles "Although most of my work is devoted to malt whisky, my friends know that Blended Scotch is my go-to dram. This blend has been rigorously assembled to have a West Coast character with a high malt content (70%) and a high proportion of ex-sherry casks. I am proud to be part of it"

This bottling is one of the first of it's kind, not only for the amazing dram within, but for it's label. During the process of distilling, a major by-product that is created is draff. This is typically sold on for cattle feed to local farmers, but instead this bottling has used it for the label. We hope the cows don't go hungry!
